Pumpkins!

So today Josh decided to stop by and see me! It made my day! We were hanging out with Mom and Bethany watching Whinne the Pooh. They were counting and I saw a pumpkin on the movie, and said oh fun I want one. Needless to say Josh being his thoughtful self said well lets go get some. Josh and I headed to the store and got ours along with a kit. We headed back to the house and set to work! Here's how they turned out...

Later Josh and I went and hung out at his house for awhile and hung out with his parents some. When he dropped me off, I ran upstairs and told Mom to get up, we were going pumpkin shopping! I wanted to carve another one! I had so much fun, so Mom got up and we went back to the store. We looked for some outfits for me, but had no good luck. We came home and had a blast carving our pimpkins together. We wish Papa had been here to join us, but he's out of town this week :( We miss him! So here's how things turned out for the two of us...

Crazy yet fun week

So this week was crazy but fun. Everyone was going fun places and hanging out having a good time, just wish I could have done more :( This week just happened to be the week my Biology teacher decided to give me 3 assignments to do instead of one, so I stayed home and worked on them while every went and played. I did make it to some events though and enjoyed them.
Also this week I went and saw Josh at the hospital :( NO FUN! Between the two of us, we keep them busy. He had gone in the same week I had for his back and they thought it was broke. Well they have taken MANY of x-rays and otehr test, and can't figure it out. They thought he had 2 discs that slipped and were pinching the nerves, but once again like me, they can't make up their minds! (Personally, I think its just the hospital trying to milk us for all the money we dont have lol running all these tests!) To add to his lovely adventure up there, they were stiching up his hand! He being the smart country boy he is, decided to cut the same finger he had cut off once before. This time it didn't go through all the way, but did go to the bone and he got the nerves. I keep telling him to be more careful, we'll see if he listens.
Besides all of that, not much is going on. I do go back to work this week, so we'll see how I do!

Road Trip

Friday Heather and Bryan arrived in Lousiville. They flew in that night and we grilled out and just spent time hanging out. Saturday morning we got up early and started the adventure to WV! We went up and had a picnic with both sets of grandparents. Mom and dad got us KFC, Grandma Beaver made eggs and kiss cookies, and Grandma and Grandpa made macaroni salad and brownies! It was all sooooo yummy, but I could only eat some of it, since I'm still sick. The doctors have me on a no good food diet making sure my stomach and gall bladder don't explode or something else on me lol. But back to our trip. After we ate we went to down the the lake and feed the duckies! I hadn't done that in forever and it was fun. Then we visited with grandparents a little then came home. It was a short trip, but worth it! Glad we gotta go!

Ultra Sound...

So I went back to the doctor today to get my results. I was surprised when not just DR. Cotton walked in, but another doc! I have them all stumped I guess. It took 2 of them to tell me that the ultra sound was normal, and that they were going to do an MRI. So needless to say I had one done today... and yes I go back tomorrow for the results!

Besides me being in and out of the hospital lately, Josh is there right now! He was at work today and I don't know all the details, but somehow he got hurt. He can't hardly move and I'm worried bout him. He just called and told me that they are doing x-rays and all that, but they think he broke his back... NOT GOOD! So keep us both in your prayers please. I feel so helpless we are both sick :(

Restless Night

So last night was another restless night... till I got meds in my system. Last night mom took me back to the ER where they loaded me up with drugs. As soon as they started them I was out like a little baby. I was told to get an ultra sound done today, they are more than certain it's my gall bladder now. Today dad took me to get one done, however so far, it seems to be normal. I go back in the morning to get the results, and possibly have more tests run. Hopefully they figure things out soon... I'm tired of being sick and in pain... AND I want good food again! lol Love y'all!

Home again Home again

Okay so here's a little update on me! After I spent half the day hooked up to yet another IV they didn't find much of anything new. However the ER doctor laughed when I told him the other meds I was given. He told me that they wouldn't help, and would actually cause me more pain...(which I was actually in and why I went back up there)! So he gave me 3 different meds this time... and boy did I have to wait for them. I don't know what was up with WalMart yesterday, and my insurance company... but it took them forever! In the end they cost an arm and a leg, but I have them now so that's good. I'm being treated for Gastritis, which is an illness do to the inflammation of the lining of the stomach. Along with Ulcers! So needless to say, my tummy hurts PRETTY Dang on bad! The meds aren't really helping which makes me sad :( So in the morning I need to go see Doc Farmer so she can do an Ultra Sound... the ER wouldn't do one! This way we can figure out if its my gall bladder and if the other docs are all wrong!

Well that's about all I have to say for now. I should get up and head down stairs for the spoken word and confrence. Love y'all!

Blood Work and IV

So today was one of the longest days of my life! I woke up about 2am and could not get back to sleep. I had gone to bed early hoping that the pain in my stomach would go away. Well it just kept getting worse :( So I woke up mom and dad and they thought it was just heart burn so they gave me some meds. Well that didn't help, so I got the heating pad and slept on it. Needless to say the heat bad it worse. So when I finally got back to sleep around 7 I was in tons of pain. When Bethany came in to give me my good morning hug and kiss, I got up and mom made me some toast to see if I could handle it. Well I couldn't, and then it lead to the dry heaves. AWFUL! So we loaded little one in the car, because I couldn't hardly move, and mom took me up to the urgent care. I was then admitted and had several tests ran. The took blood work first and they said it was all normal. Then I was sent off to the cat scan, what fun. They stuck the IV in me and started pumping dye into my system. That was one of the worst feelings of being sick. My body got warm and I felt like i was shaking, but of course I survived lol. So afterwards they said it looked fine. That meant we were back to the start... it wasn't an appendicitis. I was then sent home and told to take the meds they gave me. Mom took me to work so I could find someone to work for me. As I sat there in a ball on the phone, Andy just finally told me to go home, and he'd make someone work it for me. He could tell I was in no mood to work, much less have the energy. As I was leaving Josh got there! He came to see me real fast and to get his BOM, he had left in the car on Thursday... which is another story... we got stuck in traffic for 2 hours on the Watterson coming home...agg! Mom meet him for a moment. She laughed once he left and told me he sure is a country boy. Josh has a rather thick accent! lol
So the rest of the day was spent sitting on the couch trying not to move, or else I would be in more pain. The med's haven't seemed to help. However I have been able to keep some food down, so I hope thats a good thing!

Well I'm going to try and get some sleep before I gotta get up and do hw, then watch confrence! Night y'all! Love ya!
