Cooking In The Kicthen

This week I found a good deal on a kitchen for Gavin at a yard sale. I got it for $10, then Clint and I got a big group of food and dishes for him. He loves to cook all the time now. He'll make someone a lucky husband as long as he keeps up the love for it!

Nabi

this past weekend Grandma Brenda bought Gavin his first electronic game/tablet. He has a new Nabi, it's from Nick Jr. It has parental controls and  I only let him play about twice a week for an hour or so. He loves getting to color on it and watch different shows and sing songs with it. Overall even though I'm not a big fan of electronics for kids, he does seem to really enjoy it.

Children's Museum

The first Thursday night of each month the Indy Children's Museum is free from 4-8. Today I decided I wanted to take Gavin since neither he or I had been, so we plans with Daddy to go after eh got off work. Here is just some of the fun he had. Most of the exhibits are hands on which is one reason it's one of the best ranked children's museums in the country. And before you question us, YES, we put our child on a leash. He is a runner and this way he can have some freedom without having to sit in a stroller, he doesn't mind it and knows he has to listen or he has to sit.

Sophie and Gavin's Zoo Trip

Earlier this year when I went on the twins field trip to the zoo with them I made a new friend. Her step daughter Chloe was in Carson's class so we got talking on the bus. Well we figured out that we live only 3 streets away from each other and neither of us have many friends... perfect! Kassi and I have been friends ever since. Well last night we decided that we were going to take our younger kids to the zoo since the older ones are in school now. Today Sophie and Gavin had a blast with it being just them with us and getting attention and playing together. I can't look forward to doing more with them :)
