Valentine's Day and Clint's Birthday

For valentine's day this year Gavin decided to make Daddy a card. So he and I had his very first arts and craft time. He laughed and laughed so hard as I painted his feet to stamp them. Clint got me a gift card to go get a massage and I got him/ us matching key chains with our names and wedding date on them (last year he got me/us matching necklaces) and a new razor. We also went and got our taxes done... yippee! Then we headed out to his parents for dinner. They were so kind and made it for us! Over all it was a good day. Love you Clint!

I really love this quote from Pres. Hinckley and thought it was fitting to share.

Today is Clint's birthday! He turned 35 and he had a nice time spending it with the boys and his mom and step dad Jerry. We went out to eat for lunch and then headed back to our house to relax for awhile. After awhile he opened his gifts and we had cake. I wish I had taken pictures but I forgot so here is one of his cake. I think he had a good day and enjoyed his birthday :)

Blessing Day

Yesterday my parents, Grandma Beaver, my sisters Laura and Amy and their families came up for one of the most important days of Gavin's life. We missed my sister Heather and her family along with my Grandma Ethel, however it was still a great day. Sunday Feburuary 3, 2013 Clint and the men in my family along with our home teacher Bro. Crowder gave Gavin his baby blessing. For those who don't know what this means, it's a blessing of course given to a baby where you pronunce their name for the record of tghe church and our Heavenly Father, and then bless them with things which will be desirable for life. Some of the things Clint mentioned for Gavin were health, a testimony of the gospel, to be an example to his brothers, things as such. It's a wonderful and I am lucky to have such amazing men in my life that are worthy to hold and use the power of the Priesthood our Heavenly Father has given to them.
