~Missionary Package~

So this week I've been getting together things for a package. Derrick's one year mark is coming up VERY soon. So since I've sent him anything much since he left I had him tell me somethings he wanted. So I sent him candy that he misses and some pictures of some things. I wanted to add in something of my own but I couldn't think of anything so I asked Rach for help. She thought for awhile and thought of the perfect thing!

Derrick has asked me to go to the first devotional of the semester together. There is where he had asked me out and I of course said yes. So she told me to print out the devotional talk and send it. That way its personal and corny, but also something spiritual he can enjoy!

So today I sent his package to Guatemala... and he BETTER know I love him... for what it cost lol!

Good Times

So this weekend I spent it with 7 hot guys! I was swimming in the pool with them and then we just kinda hung out. It was fun, and I got to meet new people! We went out to dinner and watched a movie at one of their apt. Then I talked with a couple of them tonight and just chilled. They seem like nice kids! And now I'm sitting here in my living room and Calvin was playing the guitar and singing to me... how cute lol!

I wrote Derrick and sent Morgan a little care package this week and that was fun. Morgan said he loved it and said that it was the first mail he had gotten in a month! So I was glad that I could make his month!

At work I learned how to make waffle cones and banana splits, and sundaes, and milkshakes and all the good stuff! I worked 3 days last week and this week I work 4, but they are all nights so I'm going t see if I can work some days more often and ask them about that. It's a fun job so far... just not one I would want to do the rest of my life... glad I don't have to. The summer will be good enough for me.

Is it moving day yet?!

I am sooo ready to move back to Idaho! I have had enough of my roommates treating me like crap. Today topped it off when one of them told me that "It wasn't easy when you moved in"... what's that suppose to mean? I have done nothing. I sit in my room or by the pool when I am home. I stay to myself, because I can tell they didn't like me. It just makes me mad! And they say that there isn't enough room for all our food... I have 5 things in the freezer and 5 things in the fridge... I DO NOT have too much stuff! GRR I have another 2 months here and I hope I don't go crazy. I haven't even said anything to anyone but Amy and Nick because I was hoping things would just get better... but they haven't! OH GRR...
and to add to that, Mom told me that Granny died today, and one of my friends passed away earlier this week also. It's just not a good week... :(

What a weekend!

So this weekend I took an unexpected trip to Rexburg. This week things happend so I know that this fall I am going back to school. I will work durning the day, then Tues and Wed I will have one class, for a total of two. This way I can get started on getting my degree! I will be taking Intro to Sociology, and Old Testiment. I am excited to be coming back! I am actually sitting in the McKay right now, I just finished doing my online class! I had to get help from my teacher while I was here so I stayed till today. I will be leaving to head home in about an hour. It's a later start then I wanted, but I had to work around his classes.
Oh and I did find a place to live! I will be living in a house on College Ave. I will move in for the fall, then in the winter, Rachel will be moving in as well. I'm glad we can be roommates again! Well I should get going! I love you all! And thanks again for all the love and support!!

Have I finally figured things out some what?

Is it true? Has Allison Burnett finally figured out her calling in life?

Why yes she has!!!

After a lot of thinking, praying, going to the temple, talking with mom some, I have decided as of now I am going to become a social worker! I've always liked helping others and in my Patriarchal Blessing it tells my that my career will be helping those less fortunate than me. I want to help kids who have gone through a lot and have had to deal with issues like I have to become stronger. My heart aches for them. Just knowing there are so many kids out there who don't have anywhere to turn to is heartbreaking.

However this does mean I will be going back up to Rexburg for school. I am not certain if I will go this fall and work there, since it is cheaper to live there in the fall then here, or go in the winter. I will hopefully soon know what I am doing. I just have to wait a little longer and have some more patience with the Lord. In His due time will I know what to do.

Thanks everyone for being there always and helping me through life. I know I can be hard to deal with and I'm sorry. I love you all tons!

Rock Climbing!

So Heather texted me this morning to see what I was up to, and I really had nothing planned for the day. She told me that her and Bryan were going rock climbing if I wanted to go. I jumped at the idea and got ready to head up to their house. Here are a few pics of the fun we had!

New glasses!

So this last week i went to the eye doctor and got new glasses. So here are a couple of pics so you all can see them. I really like them! Amy likes them too, but I think it took her awhile to get use to. They are most definitely Alli glasses! love you all!
