Not much is new

Just thought I'd say hi to everyone! Not too much is new out here in Rexburg. It is getting warmer and the snow and ice are starting to melt slowly. I wore short even the other day!

Blurry for life?!

Alright I have had people ask me to see my lovely eye when it was swollen up. This picture doesn't do much justice for it, it had gone down some by the time I took it. However to this day, my vision is rather blurry :( The doctor said it shouldn't stay that way, just that it will take awhile for things to heal fully. Hope you all have a great V-day!

Update

Alright after I posted last my week just got worse. As many of you know I have horrible knees, and that the physically bend in ways they aren't suppose to. I was walking home from class the on Friday when my knee bent backwards. Yes I said it... my knees really pop out of socket and bend backwards, its painful and very odd looking. Of course I fell to the ground, like normal, and the girl behind me just looked at me if I was a freak while I put my knee back in place. So I limp the rest of the way home almost in tears (keep in mind my eyes are still half swollen!). I finally make it home and put on my knee brace and keep heat on it.
For the past couple of days I hadn't been feeling so hot, so I took my temperature, and yes of course I had a fever. Naomi and I were both sick, so we spent the night drugged up on our couches watching movies. I was a mess! Saturday I was feeling somewhat better and I could open my eyes all the way. However my left eye is still blurry :( So I just laid around all day drugged up again.
I did have to write a talk, which was awful, so it seemed. I got that done, but could not sleep for the life of me. I finally fell asleep around 4am Sunday. I have 9am church! So I got up and went (even though I felt like crap) and gave my talk. From what I've been told it went well. I honestly don't remember much of what went on today. I was pumped full of medicine so I wouldn't fall asleep. I do remember the nice conversation I had with Pres. Cannon though. He was glad to see me again and said to tell everyone hi!
After church I SOOOO wanted to go home and sleep... but I couldn't. I'm the ward choir director and we had practice. It was amazing and the Lord is blessing me with a wonderful choir. The work hard and sound better than I imagined. I thought the choir would be about 10-15 people. Boy was I wrong, I have around 30! We're singing next week, and it will be wonderful!
So after practice I came home and crashed hardcore! I slept for almost 3 hours, which I never do during the the day anymore, but it was well needed. I'm bout to head off to bed now, and hope I start to feel better soon. My fever has come down some but its still around 1o0. Hope everyones doing well! I miss and love y'all!!!!!!

BYU- EYE

BYU-I was been pretty decent to me this round. However I have been sick twice now :( The first time my ulcers acted up, this time its my eyes. I woke up this morning and I thought things looked a little blurry, but I thought nothing of it. Then I looked in the mirror and let out a good scream. My left eye was swollen shut. I couldn't open it, and I was worried half to death. I couldn't miss my first class of the day, so I went to class looking like a retard! Afterward I headed to the Health Center where I has to lay down the law and make them see me. They gave me an ointment to put on and an antibiotic. Dad called Bro. Blair and they both told me to go to a real eye doctor. So I looked up all the docs on my insurance and headed to yet another appointment.
I got there and the workers took one look at me and they felt awful for me. I see seen and told not to take the meds I had been given, that they might actually make me worse. I was also given a short eye exam, and was told it had effected my vision. He said that after it all clears up I should get most of it back, but it is horrible right now. I fell down the stairs and a hill today since I have no depth perception at the moment :(
I got home and laid on the couch with heat on it for about 5 hours. Then I decided to ask Matt and Brian for a blessing. I've put them to work this semester (which is a good thing in away lol). After they left the swelling went down some, but not much. HOWEVER my right eye started to swell as well. So now both my eyes are half swollen and it really is crap!
Hopefully things will look up soon. I'm getting headaches and what not from this all too. I'll keep you all posted as I find things out! LOVE Y'ALL!

This week some of my friends and I were excited for Friday night. Locus just opened up and is a new dance club here in Rexburg. This week the theme was 80's, and we had a blast! Here are some of the fun pictures of the night. Hope you can enjoy them!

Katherine and I were pretty bored the other night after a fun dinner group, so we went looking the town for something to do. We have about 10 people in our Wednesday night dinner group, and only 3 of us are girls... :D! Needless to say we had a great time! We made tacos and played Uno afterward. So after all the homework was done we wanted to have a little more fun. Being in Rexburg there's not a lot to do, so we made up our own fun.

Late Night Sledding

Well late last night while I was planning my Relief Society lesson for today, I got a phone call. Jeff Huish called and wanted to know if I wanted to go sledding. Del was over helping me, and Naomi was hanging out as well (my actual room roommate) so the four of us went sledding at about 10:30!

Here's what Del has to say... we're bored and blogging together!
"I'm ready to go sledding again! Maybe Alli won't get sick this time, and Jeff won't cut his finger open. And just maybe there will be more tunnels that Alli won't get stuck in!" ...

Back to me, He told the excitement of my night... I got stuck in a tunnel of snow! Right as the tunnel was turning, my sled went to the right and I smashed into the wall and was stuck in between the wall and the sled. Needless to say I was pretty stuck and cold and well couldn't move! However I did out, and the rest of the way down was a blast! Latter that night I started getting a migraine and get sick :( and Jeff cut his hand open, so we headed home. Once back to my place we had some brownies and finished my lesson.Naomi, Del, and I (Jeff was sledding)

Naomi said, "No comment", when asked about the sledding portion of the night. However the beginning of her night was eventful, she had smoking hot date lol! She went to dinner and bowling with Brian, Matt's brother whom you will learn more about in a few minutes. Needless to say she had a good night.

Moving right along to Matt...
I met this fella last Sunday at church. Then we invited him and his roommates over to play some games that night and had fun. He ends up being in my FHE group! We hung out for a little afterward. Then Tuesday we had our Ward Social and he and I talked a while. Afterward I got up the nerve to ask him to go on a drive and he said yes. That night we went for a drive to Idaho Falls, and actually went to the falls! It was really pretty! Then we headed home for the night and we got to know each other a LOT better! That pretty much sums up my past couple of weeks!

What a trip

Monday I headed back out west towards Utah and Idaho. Once I got to Detroit our layover went fine, but once we got on the plane things started to go downhill. We sat at the gate for about 45 minutes until we were told to unload the plane. We had to head to a different gate and load another plane. Once we were all seated and ready to go, we were told it would be another 10 minutes so they could get all our luggage on to the new plane. 20 minutes later, we were told it would be another 15, then another 15 minutes passed and we were still sitting at the gate! Needless to say we finally took off. What was suppose to be a 3 and 1/2 hour flight, turned into almost 5 hours in the air! Salt Lake's airport only had one runway open so all the planes were in a holding pattern, which added all that extra time :( However we landed and made it safely there.
Since it was in the middle of a snow storm Vince and I waited to drive up till Tuesday. It took us over 2 hours to get to Heather's house, 20 minutes away from the airport because of traffic. We did have better traffic on Tuesday. What usually takes me about 3 or so hours to drive, took almost 5 hours also. We had some rough spots but we survived. We did have one scare that I just screamed and my heart rate went shooting through the sky. We were almost to Pocatello when we hit a patch of ice. Thankfully I was the only one there so no one got hurt, but my car went crazy! It started going all over the road, but I did get control back and we were fine. Vince was asleep at that point, but it woke him up. We stopped in Pokey for a little and got some things at walmart, then finished the hour drive. Once we got to Rexburg the race was on!
We had so much that needed to be done before 5 that afternoon, and we got them done pretty quickly. Then it was off to the Storage unit to load up my car with all my 'junk' lol. We took about 3 trips, and there's still some I need to get, and to take containers back.
Then today was the first day of classes and the 2 I had seem like they will be good. Math will be a little rough at first trying to remeber what I learned in high school, but things will get better. I have more classes tomorrow, so we'll see how they go. I should be getting to bed I guess so I can get up. Night!

Packing

So this week I've been busy hanging out with friends, along with packing. So I thought I would pack my best friend and send her out to school and hide her...however that would be hard since she is SOOOO cute!

Bethany looked at the box, then at me over and over again, then finally said "IN"! Once I put her in she started to cry so I got in with her and gave her kiss all better. We soon got out and enjoyed playing "OUT" of the box as she put it.

Louisville Fun

Today I meet Heather and Brittany at Joe's crab shack for lunch. For those of you who don't know it's right on the Ohio River, which is the border of Kentucky and Indiana. The three of us had a fun time catching up and just laughing about old memories.
