Thursday nights I go to institute and this semester we were studying, how to study the scriptures. This past Thursday was the last class one. All four classes join for the last one each semester, and boy do we have fun. We have our lesson then Christmas snacks. Then it's off to the U of L's Planetarium. They do their normal little spill about the stars and what not, than afterwards they do a special treat for us all. They put on a holiday laser show! It was really neat to go and enjoy it. My friends from all over the stake were here and I'm glad I got to see them, Joe was even there! If things go the way he's planned he should be coming up this Thursday to go to the Christmas Concert, than on Friday is the singles Christmas party. On Sunday I get the great privilege to speak in the singles branch...yippe! So he's coming up to see that, so hopefully everything goes well :) Love y'all!

COOKIES

So tonight for FHE Vince came over after work to hangout some. Mom, Papa, Vince, and I had a lesson, then it was to the kitchen. Mom and Papa headed up stairs to Santa's Workshop, so we decided to make cookies. We wanted to get into the season spirit, and try out my cookie press finally... thanks Amy :) It took a while to figure out how the dough comes off the press, but once we figured it out we had a blast! We used some cookie cutters as well and had fun. We made about 7 dozen cookies, and iced some of them as well. Its always fun to hangout with friends and not spend money. Over all everyone had a good time, and please come help eat these cookies people!!

Eventful Week

I woke up this morning and knew it was going to be a long day. Today was the day, my wisdom were coming out! Rich took all 4 of my teeth out today, and I'm actually doing pretty well. I was really numb for a while of course. Once it wore off I had taken my pain killers so I haven't been in much pain. I am glad about that, and my face isn't swollen!
I went to institute tonight, and they only could tell because I can't open my mouth wide at all. I guess in the morning we'll see if the pain kicks in, or if I won't have much pain at all.

Well today is Dec 4th, Derrick's Birthday! He's been in Guatemala for around 17 months now. He's my best friend and I miss and love him, but I am glad he's doing what he needs to be. The Lord is blessing him and I'm glad he's doing well!

Tuesday was Laura's B-day! Bethany spent the day with Grandma and I, so when La came to pick her up, SURPRISE! Grandpa had gotten a cake and we had roast and cake for her! YUMMY! I know it's a little late, but Happy Birthday Laura! Glad I could be home for it.

Also on Tuesday, I went to the dentist. I was told one of my fillings had chipped and needed replaced, no biggie. The BIGGIE was being told my wisdom teeth needed to be taken out.

As we've been doing remodeling around the house, we've spent lots of time at Lowe's. Family Home Evening the other night was spent there again. I was getting bored when I spotted this shopping cart down the aisle. I of course being the little kid in heart grabbed it and got in. Then had mom photograph the memory forever!

FOOTBALL

With every Thanksgiving there comes turkey, sweet potatoes, gravy, and football. That's right I said FOOTBALL! This year us singles decided we needed to branch off from our home wards and have our own turkey bowl! We had so much fun, and got to know each other better! Thanks for the prayers for Josh! He's doing better, and he's home now. He still isn't the best, he's chest still hurts him a lot of the time, and slows him down. But we're just glad things are going better.

So yesterday some of my friends had been trying to call and talk to me, and I never answered. Finally Allison got hold of me on FB and told me to call Joshi (my best friend) b/c we were going bowling. I called him and told him I wasn't sure if I was gonna go or not, well he did not take that well. He basically told me to ask and if he had to we would come give mom and papa hugs today. The hugs weren't nessicary, they let me go any way lol.
let me back up a little... earlier that day I was talking to Josh (the other one), and had asked what his plans were. I was told he and grandma were going to his parents house to spend the night then have Thanksgiving. So I thought he'd be gone....
Back to my story...
When I got to the alley, I finally new why Joshi wouldn't take a no from me. He had called and gotten Josh a ride and surprised me! Josh was there and hanging out with my high school friends and I! I was sooo exctied, Joshi knows me too well, and what makes me happy :)
Needless to say we all had a blast! Kelly and I left after 2 games, and everyone else stayed and went out. Guess Josh got along with them pretty well. I was glad to see some friends I hadn't seen in a year or more, and it was fun to get out and not be going to work lol! Here's some of the fun pictures of the night.

Hospital

Last night before work I went to visit Josh in the hospital. Let me tell you, I was NOT ready for what I walked in on. I knew he was sick, but he didn't tell me everything. I walked in to see him hooked up to oxygen and heart monitors. Besides having pneumonia, they have discovered why he's chest has been hurt a lot lately. Josh's heart it too large... (I could have told you that he's one of the sweetest guys ever lol) but it is slowly shutting down. I still don't know all the details of what's going to happen. But PLEASE keep him in your prayers. I was strong while in there for him, he is worried, and I'm even more scared, but when I walked out of his room the tears came flooding. I hated that I had to leave him, and that I had to be all cheerful and go to work. Needless to say it was a long night. Hopefully they can get him home soon, and doing better. Thanks everyone!

So all of us friends were hanging out at our place... and back then Lexie and I slept on the couches. We had 6 girls living in a 4 girl apt... (thats another story, hint why my pillow is under Lexie and my blanket is on the floor). We must have taken a nap or something (our favorite past time that semester was always napping lol) because look at our hair... messy! but anyway Derrick was just chilling with me on the couch when LJ came and jumped on me for a pic. I miss that girl... and Derrick as well. I love those 2... they are my bestest friends... and rach rach of course hehe!

*Prayers*

So there are lots of reasons for prayers within our family right now it seems. I was just wanting to ask everyone if they can make sure to keep Josh in their prayers as well. He has been in the hospital with Pneumonia for the past 3 days. Today they started to run more tests on him, and hopefully soon we should know the results, but somethings wrong with his heart. I'm a little worried and he even told me hes scared. Josh is a big tough country boy... so that's not normal for him. We both just want him home and doing well soon.
