Gavin's 1st Dentist Trip

Gavin was a brave little boy today and went to the dentist for the first time. He's going to a fun pediatric one and oh do they make it fun. I'll let the pictures tell you all about it. 

He was so excited that he wanted to run to the front door, and also look at the fountain

For being so brave and good they gave him a beach ball!

Time Out For Women Weekend

This past weekend I headed to Cincinnati with some of the best ladies I know. I went with 3 friends from up here, Teresa, Amber, and Tia and we met up with my mom, grandma, and two of my sisters Laura and Amy. This is a weekend of spiritual uplifting, loads of laughs, and tons of friendship for women, hence the name Time Out For Women, no kids or husbands allowed! This pictures are in no order, just however they uploaded and I'm too lazy to reorganize them all :) I had a great time with everyone and look forward to next years, it should be a little closer to home.

this outfit and post is for my bro-in-law Bryan. He is ADDICTED to Goofy, so we thought he'd love Gavin's newest outfit. He thought it was super fun and so did Gavin, but he didn't like to wear the hat... go figure.

For once Gavin was out numbered at our house. He had the Petty girls over for a play date today so it was 3 vs him, and 4 if you count this ole mommy. However he loves to have friends over to play so let's be for real he was happy and busy making time for each girl lol!

Easter and Nick's Birthday

This year Easter happened to fall on our brother-in-laws birthday. So we got to help celebrate both with all our KY family. The kids all had fun with the egg hunt and getting their dyed eggs that I made while dinner was being made. Overall I think all had fun and Nick enjoyed his day!

Here is our little family when Gavin saw the Easter Bunny came to visit him! He was so excited as it was the first year he actually cared about it all.

 This year I dyed our eggs with shaving cream and food coloring. It worked out really well and marbled them. the kids thought they looked neat, and so did I.
