A couple weeks ago my friend Emily spoke in church and told some funny stories. However these stories made you step back and realize that the church leaders are human just like us. As she told stories of her family and how she can't wait for Grandpa to come visit this week you just stand in awe. Did I mention my friend Emily's last name... Eyring! (Some how I make friends with Pres. Monson's granddaughter AND Pres. Erying's, I must be doing something right lol!) Anyway President Eyring is her grandfather, and he was yesterday's devotional speaker. He spoke on the miracle of the Rexburg temple, and BYU-I, and how they are special. He said as he drives into town it always appears as if the temple is on campus, which it does look like. Because of this we are blessed that we are able to attend 2 of the Lord's school's to learn and grow according to His will. Anyway I just thought I'd share a little of what's happened this week for me.

How nice that you were able to hear from President Eyring...He is special to me. I remember being on campus and heaing from him quite often...of course he was a different President then! :) It was always fun to see him around campus...I even flew home on the plane with him when I left to go home! At least as far as Chicago!
