Double Trouble Birthday Fun

7 Years ago today double trouble entered the world. Carson and Cole were born! 

Clint and the Twins

They were so cute, what happened ;) 

Yesterday Gavin thought he needed to have a baking lesson. I figured since he asked so nicely, he could help make the twins birthday cake and boy was he excited to help.

This year we got them each a movie that they had asked for and decided to do a fun big gift to share.

They like Thomas the Train so we thought a train table was fitting. It's a neat one because it has a cover that you put on top and it becomes a table. This way they can color and play other things on top. We then got them a few other little trucks to play with the table. Since we got them that, Grandma Brenda bought them some hot wheel cars and a carrying case for them. Now they have to decide how to spend their birthday money they got from my parents and some cousins.

Green all over

This year I thought it would be fun for the twins to see what the leprechaun's did around our house.

Our milk turned green! They thought it was so neat.

Then for dinner he got into our bread dough and turned it green. The rolls even were 4 leafed.

Gavin had helped me make 4 leaf cookies the day before, so we had them after dinner.
The boys of course loved them also.

Gavin had seen what all had changed around our house today and noticing all the food had been green he thought it was great his was also that night. He had green beans for dinner and when he noticed I was taking pictures he decided to start hamming it up for me :) He is such a cute little man!

Cody and Gavin's Weekend

Yesterday Clint and I decided we would do something fun and nice for Cody. We took him to the movies and dinner. It was Gavin's first movie in the theater and he LOVED it. He stayed awake for the entire movie and I was impressed. Sorry the pictures are kind of dark.

 Then today Cody, Gavin, and I went for a little family walk. It was such a beautiful day, we couldn't help but spend the day outside.

Winter Snow

Well we thought winter was over, but Gavin and I woke up to a BIG surprise this morning. We woke up to about 2 feet of snow! After hours of Gavin asking and begging me to go outside and play I caved. Gavin had seen snow but had never played in the white fluff. I bundled him up in his snowsuit and we headed out for some fun.
