Last Day Being Single!

This is my last full day as a single woman, which means this is the last post as one as well! The time is so close that I can't stand it. I get to marry Clinton tomorrow! However today is just as exciting for us. Today we get to attend the temple for the first time for both of us today. Since my Papa had all girls it's kind of nice that my dad gets to help Clint go through and of course Mom will go with me. I'm very lucky and blessed to have him and I am so glad he found the gospel and accepted, if he hadn't I have no idea where I'd be or who I would be marrying (if at all lol). It's been almost 2 years since he entered the waters of baptism and I am so excited to be apart of his next step with the Lord, and to be included from here on out. It's so wonderful that he is able to have my family around to help set the examples for a family life, much less one with the gospel. I should get going and get ready to head to the temple, but I just wanted to make one last post before I was no longer a free woman but a Freeman (my soon to be last name). I can't wait for the actives of today and tomorrow. The Lord has blessed us with the knowledge needed to return above to Him and our Heavenly Father and today I take a step closer.

2 weeks!

2 weeks and I get to marry my best friend!! Isn't that just amazing?! I get to marry him in the Lord's house for all time and eternity. There is no one or any other way I would want this.

We've got a lot accomplished over the last few weeks and there is still some more to do, but everything is coming together nicely.

The clock is ticking

The clock is ticking until the wedding and I am starting to get really anxious, but in a good way! A lot has been happening as I'm sure many of you can imagine. I've made many trips up to see my little family to be and spend time up there with them. I've slowly been moving things up there so when I actually move it won't take so many trips and let's be for real, the gas money! I still have more to take up but with 3 weeks to go (and a few days) I wouldn't say I have too much left.

As for wedding plans, we've gotten much accomplished. I designed the announcements and had them printed, then of course got them sent out. Clint and I got the ties ordered and they came in the mail, and the bridesmaids dresses are almost completed. One of the sisters in the church here is making them for us and they are rather cute so far if I might say so myself. There's plenty more that has been done and still needs to be done, but it's all coming together.

The most exciting part was today!!

I picked up my wedding dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

then afterward I went to a beauty school here and had them play with my hair and get ideas for how I want to wear it the day of. So when I came home with my hair done all pretty I put on my dress/ shoes, etc, and danced around the living room. Then tonight I met with the Stake President and got the last signature needed :) Now it's the waiting game and staying busy.

I love Clinton and the boys with all my heart and I can't wait to start and spend our lives together for forever!! <3 <3

Valentines With My Boys

Everyone knows that Valentines Day was earlier this week. Last Friday I took off and headed up to see Clinton and the boys. I got to spend the weekend with the 4 Freeman boys, and then stayed up there to spend Valentines day with Clint.

We had a great weekend with the kids. We took them to Build-A-Bear on Saturday and had fun. They picked out the stuffed animals they wanted and stuffed them full. Their favorite part is giving them a bath afterward, and then naming them. Lunch was required, off to Applebee's it was. It was nice just enjoying time together and getting to see how we all get along with one another. At home we all just relaxed that night and enjoyed some food.

Sunday we all got up and got ready for church, had breakfast and headed off. the boys were very well behaved at sat very well during Sacrament meeting. I was very impressed :) Afterward we went back out to Clint's Moms house for lunch. While out there I got the pleasure of looking at pictures from Clint's life. There are some very good blackmail pictures of him. There was even a video his Mom put in for me. I must say I love that man! He's amazing and I just can't wait until April 7!!

Happy Couple

On Valentines Day Clinton and I went out and about. We went to lunch and then shopping. I found a really cute dress on sale and my love bought it for me. I also got a few more scents for my oil burner. I've been wanting to see the movie Big Miracle, the one about the whales being trapped and being saved, so we went to see the movie. The movie was as good as we expected.
Clint is looking for a new suit, so we took a few minutes to see if we could find anything for him, but no such luck. Hopefully we'll find one he likes soon enough.

On the way home we stopped by Walgreen's to pick up some sudafed. The pharmacist actually flat out asked me if I had checked with my OBGYN to make sure I could take the rapid release. I was shocked and just wanted to laugh my head off, but just simply told her I wasn't pregnant. She felt so bad and turned the brightest color of red there is. I felt bad for her, but she should have asked in a different way. Anyway after that we were headed out to the grocery store and Clint found this parking spot and thought we should park there, so we did. It was all good and fun.

We spent the rest of the night relaxing. We made a pizza at home and watched a movie. Overall I had a wonderful day and weekend.

Content and Smiling

Here I am sitting in my living room with my sweetheart just relaxing after church. I just had to let the entire world know how happy and content I am. I love feeling this way and I can't stop smiling. I can't wait for the day when I don't have to leave and head back to my parents and I'm here at my home in CJ's arms forever!!

I ended my last entry not knowing what would come of CJ's visit, well now I know what his trip was all about.

Sunday night we had family dinner and celebrated Granny's birthday. This dinner was Clint's first family dinner with many more to come. The family is just laid back and relaxed and it was nice having him there to spend time with us. At the end of the night Papa asked CJ if they could have lunch the next day so I got a little nervous for them both lol.

Monday seemed like the longest day at work ever. As noon arrived I wondered how the lunch between the 2 most important men in my life was going. I wanted nothing more than for them to get along and to find out what was said.

The walkway at work seemed endless as second shift came walking down to relieve us for the day. They finally got there and I was out the door quicker than I ever have been before and was on my way to the hotel. I got there and grilled CJ on how everything was with Papa. I was reassured that it went well and they had a good time.

I had already bought CJ a ring and was letting him try it on when he dropped to one knee and told me it was my turn to try mine on. I just looked at him and couldn't believe him. There was the most amazing man and ring right before my eyes. He asked me to marry him and I of course said yes!! I love him more than anything and I know he feels the same way. He'll take good care of me and I him and the kids.

I love my family and I can't wait for CJ and the boys to be apart of mine forever. (For you all who don't know he has 3 boys that are adorable) Cody is the oldest and is 11. Then there is Cole and Carson, the twins which are 5.

Road Trip

Last Monday after work I decided to take a road trip. I had called Clint on my lunch break and told him I had thought about driving up to see him but I wasn't certain. While the day hurried along at work I knew I was going to make the journey. I went home and packed rather quickly and told mom where I was going and I'd see her later. We talked for a few minutes then I headed out the door.

All of a sudden I felt like a race car driver. The need for speed was pumping through my body, however I knew I'd rather not get pulled over so I held back. The drive up to Elwood really isn't too bad and is only about 3 hours, give or take some depending on traffic. As I got closer and closer I began to think I had gone to the wrong place. Clint lives in the middle of "Nowhere-ville" as I called it while talking to him. Finally I made it to the house! I was HOME!

That night we went on a drive around town to show me things. Elwood is an older town and not what I'm use to, but change is always good right?!

The next morning he took me to breakfast and it was amazing. Breakfast is my favorite food and I could eat it for every meal almost. That was a good way to start our day off before heading to Indianapolis. The mall is always a good place to take me, plus I needed a new phone cover. I broke mine so what other place has the selection than what's at the mall?!

We ran around town for awhile, and got some lunch before heading to what might be a shock to some of you. You sitting down?? Ok here you have it... we went to David's Bridal. That's right, I went and tried on wedding dresses. Most of you are more than likely thinking..."but he can't see your dress!"... well I'm not that type of girl. I don't mind, after all I want him to like the dress as well. In the end I of course will get the dress I like and he won't know which one it is, but this way I know what kind he likes and doesn't.

That night we went and hung out with his Mom and Step-Dad. It was good getting to know them some and just feel right at home. They are sweet and kind people, even to someone as crazy as me ;)

Wednesday was my last day to spend up there with him before I left. We just spent time together and had lunch at an amazing Italian restaurant. I must say it was amazing! I had more food put in front of me than I knew what to do with.

When it came time for the ride back to Louisville my heart ached. I didn't want to leave this place, nor him. Clinton is one of the best things that's happened to me. I love him with all my heart and it broke my heart to drive away. I was at least glad to know that I would see him real soon as we had already made plans for him to come down and visit that Sunday (yesterday).

Clinton is down here and I'm more than excited to see what this trip holds for us!

Best "weekend" ever

My weekends are a little different from most peoples, mine is Tuesday and Wednesday. I really don't mind having an odd schedule however a social life is out of the question pretty much.

Well last weekend on my Friday (Monday), I was working visitation so I didn't get a lunch break, no biggie. Just means I get to leave about an hour early...

(Clinton had taken my weekend off and drove down to spend it with me)...

The idea hit me to head up to LaGrange and surprise him. So I go to the hotel he is staying at and knock on his door and boy did I love the smile that welcomed me!

We spent the night just being us and going out on the town. All I know is this man MUST love me because he went and sat through Breaking Dawn with me :)

Tuesday we spent the day together and man did we have a blast! The morning started off with me going to pick him up and being his wonderful chauffeur for the day. After I finally decided what we were going to do we headed to Louisville. It's amazing how being in his presence make my day ten times brighter. We can ride in silence or be rocking out to the music and be content and happy with just being together.

First stop of the day was the Louisville Science Center. That's right... I'm a geek... gotta love me right?! For those of you who have never been it's a cool place, check it out sometime. It has lots of hands on experiments you can have fun with. We spent awhile there and built a tower out of blocks to see if it would withstand an earthquake. One of the experiments you can do is building an arch. I must say it was VERY nice to have such a tall man around to help me. I am soooo short that I couldn't put half of the blocks where they belonged. Clinton had to hold them all while I did I best to put it together, we eventually got the arch together just to watch it crumble to the ground. We did a few other fun activities then headed on to the next adventure of the day.

Lunch was next on the agenda and Subway was what I craved. We sat down and ate then just talked for awhile. We really were just enjoy our time together. Then the phone call came... Papa called to tell me some news. Alan Tyler who was like a second father had passed away that morning. My heart sunk as I held back the tears. He had been sick for years and in the last 4 or 5 months had taken a turn for the worse. I know he is better off and in no pain, it's still hard though. I am grateful for my knowledge of the plan of salvation and the role it plays in this life and the hereafter. Clinton was so sweet to me and he made all the difference in my day and how I reacted to the news. Knowing I have a man that loves me unconditionally is more than I could ever ask for.

Family is important to Clinton and I so I decided it was time he got to know most of mine. The next stop was Laura's house. Dom was at the door ready to let us in when we showed up. He is such a cutie at times! Bethany and Laura were inside waiting to visit with us also. After we spent sometime over there we went over to Amy's. Claire and Nick had been over the first time Clinton came and Claire was scared of him, more like shy almost. We had a good time and after awhile Claire warmed up to him.

That night we went out to dinner and while we were there mom called and asked me to take Grandma to the doctor the next morning. I wasn't too excited about that knowing that in the afternoon Clint would have to leave to head home, but I agreed anyway. When I got off the phone and told him he simply asked what time to be at the house to go :) Such a simple thing to show me he cares. Of course the next morning Grandma and he met as we headed out.

Before Clint left I took him to a few of my favorite stores around LaGrange. My favorite book store (once again I'm a geek) and the arts and crafts store. While there he got me a few new items for making my watches. I like to make watch bands so I have one to match most outfits I have. Overall we had a good time.

It was sad to watch him drive away but I knew I'd see him soon!
